God In Your Corner

With God in your corner, anything is possible. If an ol' gal like me can be pulled from the pit of hell by reaching up and grabbing God's hand, then so can you! He is always, and I mean always there, even when you don't take the time to notice. He will never, ever leave you, abandon you, give you the wrong direction, abuse you, hurt you, disappoint you or leave you in the middle of the street, not having a way home.

God holds you when you cry, when you are lonely, when you are tired, scared and even when you want to give up. He is the one who encourages you to go on, when no one else does. He is the Father you always wanted, the one that guides you, understands you, listens to your every word and loves you no matter what. God is who is going to fill that emptiness that you have tried to fill with drugs, sex, alcohol, money, power, and all the rest. God is what completes you, makes you whole and puts meaning into your life.

How do I know that all this is true? It is because I went without God and my life sucked! I was empty, lonely, sad, always trying to find something or someone that would make everything better. God was there all that time, patiently guiding me back to Him. Gently, and sometimes not so gently, directing me to Him, always to Him. Well, I finally paid attention! It took almost dying, loosing everything, my family, health, career, fortune, freedom and self-respect, before I really paid attention.

Don't continue down the wrong path. Learn from my mistakes. Learn from my awakening. You can start a new life right this minute! God is there, sitting beside you at this very minute, just waiting for you to reach out and accept His Son as your Savior.

The life that awaits you is wonderful, filled with love, success, happiness and fulfillment. I am not blowing smoke here! I mean and have proven every word.

God is in your corner. Reach out, grab His hand and be ready to partake in the greatest and most fulfilling adventure of your life. I did it…so can you.

hi star, eloquently said. if not for believing the same, i would not be here today. He's in my left pocket, safe and snug until i need Him to come out and get me out of a mess, or tell me what to do. thanks for sharing your thoughts with us, best regards, sue

This is a wonderful testimony, Star. And you know what is so great about a personal testimony; no one can argue against it, for it is YOUR testimony, and who knows better than you what has happened in your life because of what God has done.
